Job summary

Auckland Council invites applications for a Senior Manager – Infrastructure Reporting, a high-impact leadership role across the Auckland Council group. You will unify reporting information, break down data silos and enable senior leaders to make confident decisions based on consistent, high-quality data.

You’ll lead a team of data professionals, shape reporting frameworks, and drive modern data technologies and self-service analytics across our city-wide organisations.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading data and analytics in large organisations.
• Proven ability to influence C-suite and senior stakeholders across boundaries.
• Experience migrating data platforms within a modern data stack.

Responsibilities

• Lead group-wide collaboration to align reporting frameworks and data flows.
• Develop a strategic partnership model for reporting and analytics delivery.
• Oversee transition from legacy reporting to modern data technologies.
• Champion data governance and quality controls across the analytics function.
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing data team with stakeholders and vendors.
