Job summary

Trevelyan's in Te Puke, Bay of Plenty, seeks a senior technology leader to own the digital roadmap across packhouse, coolstores and supplier networks. Based full-time in Te Puke, you will report to the CFO and work with an in-house team and long-standing vendor partners.

You will set the direction, align vendor and outsourced work under one strategy, and build the in-house capability to deliver it. You’ll chair the AI Governance Group, own the technology risk register, and report progress to the

Qualifications

• Senior technology leadership with ERP, data/BI and infrastructure exposure in a mid-size NZ organisation.
• Experience running a hybrid in-house and outsourced model.
• Strong stakeholder skills and sharp commercial instincts in vendor negotiation.
• Confident chairing governance groups and influencing without direct authority.
• Experience in agribusiness, primary industry or supply chain is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Set the technology roadmap and align it with business goals across packhouse, coolstores and supplier networks.
• Unify vendor and outsourced partnerships under one clear strategy and build the in-house team to deliver it.
• Chair AI Governance Group and manage the technology risk register with quarterly SLT/Board reporting.
