Job summary

Fonterra is seeking a Head of AI Enablement to lead the team responsible for helping people extract maximum value from AI. You will define the direction for Enterprise AI Products, lead a team of Product Owners and an AI Adoption Lead, and partner with business leaders, Product teams, and Data & AI specialists to ensure AI solutions are adopted effectively and deliver meaningful outcomes.

• Partner with business leaders, product teams and Data & AI specialists to ensure AI solutions deliver meaningful outcomes.
• Act as a bridge between business teams and AI product delivery to embed AI across the organisation.

About the Opportunity | Mō tēnei tūranga

As Fonterra continues to scale the use of AI across the Co-op, we're looking for a Head of AI Enablement to lead the team responsible for helping our people get the most value from AI.

Leading a team of Product Owners and an AI Adoption Lead, you'll set the direction for Enterprise AI Products, inspiring the use of AI in a structured, scalable and valuable way. You'll own and fund experimentation and scaling of AI opportunities, and establish roadmaps for enterprise AI products across Everyday, Embedded and Custom AI. You'll work across the organisation to drive the successful rollout of AI initiatives, build organisational capability, and support leaders and teams through new ways of working. You'll partner closely with business leaders, Product teams, and Data & AI specialists to ensure AI solutions are adopted effectively and deliver meaningful outcomes.

This is a highly influential leadership role that combines people leadership, stakeholder engagement, and transformational change. You'll set the direction for AI enablement across the Co-op, lead a high-performing team, and establish the frameworks, programmes, and support required to help AI become part of everyday work.

You'll act as a key link between business teams and AI product delivery teams, helping to align business priorities, identify adoption opportunities, and ensure AI solutions are successfully embedded across the organisation.

You're an experienced Product Manager and people leader with a track record of leading large-scale transformation in a complex environment. You know how to align people around a common goal, influence across diverse stakeholder groups, and turn strategy into action.

You build trusted relationships with senior leaders and work effectively across business, product, and technology teams. You're skilled at understanding business needs, identifying opportunities, and translating them into practical solutions that deliver impact.

As a leader, you enjoy developing others, creating clarity in complex environments, and helping teams succeed through periods of change. You bring strong communication skills, sound judgement, and a pragmatic approach to navigating ambiguity while maintaining focus on outcomes.
