Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years relevant head chef / kitchen leadership experience.

• Flexible availability for seven-day operation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop menus aligned with venue standards.
• Control food and labour costs, order supplies, and process invoices.
• Monitor dish quality from prep to presentation.
• Coordinate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Demonstrate techniques and advise on cooking methods.
• Prepare and cook food to a consistently high standard.
• Enforce hygiene regulations and manage kitchen records.
• Train and onboard new staff, building a high-performance team.

What will your job duties include?

• Plan and develop menus that are in line with venue standards

• Ensuring accurate food and labour costs, ordering food supplies, managing deliveries and processing invoices

• Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation

• Ensuring effective collaboration and communication across kitchen and front-of-house teams in regard to food preparation, standards and practices

• Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking methods

• Preparing and cooking food to a consistently high standard

• Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations and practices including managing kitchen log books, cleaning schedules and temperature log books

• Selecting and training new staff, ensuring they are being trained to a high standard and familiarising them with kitchen processes

• Build a high performance team and lead a productive kitchen culture

• Working professionally in a fast paced environment
