Job summary

WM New Zealand is seeking an Operator to run our medical and biosecurity waste processing equipment in a safe, compliant manner. You will receive thorough training and work with a buddy system to build confidence.

The role involves loading and operating bin lifters, Rotoclave units, unloading, washing bins, moving bins around the plant, and basic lifting. A can-do attitude and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Training will be provided for the role.
• Forklift experience is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Load and operate bin lifters and conveyors.
• Operate Rotoclave steam sterilising units.
• Unload sterilising units.
• Foam washing and lining of bins.
• Move wheeled bins around the plant (up to 200kg).
• Some lifting of containers up to 20kg.
• Palletising of export waste.
