Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking an experienced Harvest Operations Manager to oversee seasonal harvest teams, recruit and manage staff, plan daily labour, and drive productivity.

You will monitor attendance, ensure health and safety, coordinate with orchard and packhouse teams, and report performance using digital systems and spreadsheets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing kiwifruit, berry, orchard or seasonal harvest operations.
• Strong workforce leadership and people-management skills.
• Experience recruiting and managing seasonal labour.
• Good understanding of harvest productivity, labour costs and quality.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Comfort with technology, apps, spreadsheets and workforce-management systems.
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems in a fast-moving environment.
