Job summary

United Flexible, a NZ-owned specialist industrial hose & fittings company, seeks a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead our Auckland distribution centre. You will run daily warehouse operations, including dispatch and hose assembly, ensuring orders leave on time and to spec, while maintaining safety standards.

Candidates should have prior supervisory experience, strong stock control, and practical mechanical aptitude. Training is provided for hose-related tasks and systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse supervisor or team leader role.
• Hands-on leader who communicates clearly and sets high standards.
• Strong stock control and ERP or warehouse system experience.
• Mechanical aptitude; knowledge of industrial hoses helpful (training provided).
• Organised, proactive and aligned with company values.

Responsibilities

• Lead, roster and train the warehouse team, setting clear daily priorities.
• Oversee inwards goods, container de-vanning, putaway, pick, pack and dispatch.
• Supervise hose cutting and assembly, ensuring assemblies meet spec and are traceable.
• Own stock accuracy through rolling stocktakes and variance investigations.
• Drive health and safety across warehouse and yard, including PPE and incidents.
• Report on warehouse KPIs and collaborate to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Keep the warehouse organised and maximise space with improvements.
