Job summary

CanRecruit is seeking a reliable Warehouse Assistant to join a fast-paced team in Christchurch. The role involves hands-on duties such as palletizing, wrapping, labeling, and moving goods around the warehouse.

The ideal candidate is physically fit, reliable, and comfortable with manual work. OSH forklift certification is required and forklift experience is advantageous for this position.

Qualifications

• Current OSH forklift certification is required.
• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial.
• Able to lift heavy objects and perform manual handling tasks.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Palletizing goods for storage or dispatch.
• Wrapping and securing pallets.
• Labeling products and pallets accurately.
• Moving pallets into designated storage areas.
• General warehouse duties and housekeeping.
• Picking up rubbish and sweeping work areas.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and organized.
• Assisting with forklift duties when required.
• Product devanning.
