Job summary

TR Group in Hamilton is seeking a Rental Operations and Yard Coordinator to join our busy truck and trailer rental yard. You will work hands-on outdoors and at a desk, delivering easy service and building strong customer relationships.

This role manages the rental fleet, COFs, RUC, servicing, tyres, invoicing, and handovers, with responsibilities across yard movement, vehicle presentation, and liaising with suppliers. A Class 2/4 license is preferred, with training available.

Qualifications

• Possess a Class 2 or 4 license (training available)
• Experience in transport industry preferred
• Able to work in a tight-knit team under pressure

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for customers entering or calling the branch
• Manage rental fleet including COFs, RUC, servicing and tyres
• Invoice rental agreements and communicate vehicle damage
• Provide comprehensive handovers with safety and vehicle operation details
• Move and present vehicles; coordinate transfers between branches
• Inspect vehicles for damage on return and maintain workflow
• Keep vehicles clean, immaculate, and compliant for next customer
• Collaborate to prioritise tasks and support third-party suppliers
