Job summary

Pushpay is seeking a Technical Lead in New Zealand. You will stay close to engineering, guiding design and decisions while mentoring a team of 5–8 engineers. You’ll partner with an Engineering Manager and help transform ideas into reliable software that improves user experiences.

You’ll own technical direction, maintain quality, and lead through collaboration, curiosity, and example, delivering features that matter to customers.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering craft with hands-on coding in C# / .NET.
• Ability to guide architecture and technical decisions.
• Mentor engineers and grow technical capability within the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex feature development and ensure high engineering quality.
• Set technical direction and collaborate with PMs/EMs on delivery priorities.
• Review code and mentor engineers to improve practices.
• Identify risks early and support delivery with maintainable solutions.
• Balance delivery speed with long-term maintainability and reliability.
