Job summary

ikeGPS Group Limited in New Zealand is seeking a QA Team Lead to champion quality across a growing product portfolio. This player-coach role blends hands-on test automation, test execution, and setting technical standards while mentoring a small team of QA Specialists.

You will lead testing efforts for legacy and next-generation platforms, advance AI/ML quality, data integrity, and cross-functional collaboration with product and engineering teams across time zones.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading or mentoring QA teams or senior/lead QA role.
• 5+ years of quality assurance experience in software product companies.
• Deep knowledge of QA methodologies including functional, integration, regression, and acceptance testing.
• Hands-on experience building automated test frameworks and using test automation tools.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum processes and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with AI-powered testing tools and data quality validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA Practice Leadership & Mentorship and set quality standards.
• Define testing strategies and establish scalable quality frameworks.
• Design and implement scalable test processes and automation roadmaps.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Support to improve quality and customer impact.
• Actively contribute to hands-on testing of complex features and maintain audit trails.
