Vitaco is offering a paid, part-time opportunity for an engineering student to gain hands-on, site-based experience working alongside experienced engineers on real manufacturing projects. The role focuses on FMCG and sports nutrition manufacturing, with about 20 hours per week at our East Tamaki site and a fixed term of up to six months.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing an engineering degree (mechanical, chemical, process, mechatronics, or similar).
• Interest in manufacturing, FMCG, food, or sports nutrition industries.
• Able to work in an industrial site environment.
• Detail-oriented and eager to learn from experienced engineers.
• Flexible around study commitments.

Aufgaben

• Conducting site walk-downs to understand existing plant services and infrastructure.
• Mapping pipe routes and services within live manufacturing areas (e.g. compressed air, utilities).
• Collecting and organising technical and process information (layouts, asset details, operating requirements).
• Supporting engineers with project scoping and documentation.
• Liaising with CAD operators to translate site information into drawings.
• Build understanding of how engineering decisions are made in a regulated food manufacturing environment.
