Job summary

Dimples by Jane Anne in Avondale, North Island, NZ, is seeking an Apparel Production Assistant. You will support apparel production and product development, manage CIN7 data, coordinate samples, and liaise with suppliers and contractors.

The role blends hands-on production with warehouse tasks in a small NZ-owned business. The ideal candidate has garment construction knowledge, experience with tech packs, and a tidy approach to documentation, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and lift

Qualifications

• Qualification in Fashion Design, Fashion Technology, Apparel Production or equivalent industry experience.
• Sound understanding of garment construction and apparel manufacturing.
• Experience creating and/or updating garment specification sheets and tech packs.
• Practical understanding of garment measurements, fit and construction and how changes affect other measurements.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
• Positive team player with a can-do attitude.
• Physically fit and comfortable lifting stock when required.
• Holds a full, clean New Zealand driver’s licence and comfortable driving a company van.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with apparel production and product development.
• Creating and maintaining product information within CIN7.
• Setting up new products and creating barcode information.
• Creating, updating and maintaining garment specification sheets and production documentation.
• Coordinating samples and production materials.
• Assisting with onshore and offshore production processes.
• Liaising with suppliers and contractors.
• Supporting warehouse with stock deliveries and transfers between locations.
• Providing day-to-day support to the Purchasing & Production Manager.
• Assisting with other production and operational tasks as required.
