Job summary

Frame Consulting Ltd in Auckland is seeking a hands-on professional to support end-to-end production and garment development for local and offshore manufacturing. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will collaborate with design, production and suppliers to ensure high-quality collections are delivered on time.

This role offers exposure to premium fabrics and garment construction, with growth and development opportunities within a respected New Zealand brand.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ experience in fashion production, garment technology, or product development.
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, fabrics, and apparel production.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple timelines.
  • High attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Adobe.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate local and offshore production
  • Communicate with suppliers to monitor timelines
  • Participate in garment fittings and provide feedback
  • Create technical drawings and spec sheets
  • Review lab dips, fit samples, pre-production samples, and shipping samples

Reporting to the Production Manager, this is a varied and hands‑on role supporting the end‑to‑end production and garment development process across both local and offshore manufacturing. You will work closely with design, production, and suppliers to ensure collections are developed and delivered to the highest standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge who enjoys working across both product and production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the coordination of local and offshore production
  • Communicate regularly with suppliers and factories to monitor production timelines and critical paths
  • Participate in garment fittings and provide fit comments and technical feedback
  • Create technical drawings and spec sheets for sampling and production
  • Review and provide feedback on lab dips, fit samples, pre‑production samples, and shipping samples
  • Coordinate inbound shipments and support stock processing activities
