Job summary

Frontline Recruitment in Auckland is seeking an experienced Hand Therapist to join a well-established hand therapy service across Remuera and Ormiston. The role involves delivering specialist assessment and rehabilitation within a collaborative MDT environment, on a full-time or part-time basis.

You will work with physiotherapists, occupational therapists and psychologists, managing a varied caseload while maintaining high clinical standards and pursuing ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Registration with the NZ Physiotherapy Board or Occupational Therapy Board
• Current APC and member of the New Zealand Association of Hand Therapists (NZAHT)
• Current professional liability insurance
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Committed to client-centred care and ongoing upskilling

Responsibilities

• Providing specialist clinical hand therapy assessment and treatment to a range of clients
• Design tailored rehabilitation plans aligned with patient goals
• Working across ACC contracts and injury management pathways
• Completing clear, comprehensive documentation and reports
• Work collaboratively with referrers and other health professionals
• Contribute positively to team culture and uphold high clinical standards
• Operate confidently within professional competencies and scope
