Job summary

Frontline Recruitment Group in Auckland seeks an experienced Hand Therapist to join a well-established allied health service. You will deliver high-quality hand therapy across Remuera and Ormiston, with a focus on client-centred care and collaborative practice.

You'll assess, treat and support recovery within an MDT of physiotherapists, occupational therapists and psychologists, while expanding your own clinical expertise in a learning-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Registration with NZ Physiotherapy Board or Occupational Therapy Board.
• APC (Annual Practising Certificate) holder.
• Member of the New Zealand Association of Hand Therapists (NZAHT).
• Current professional liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Providing specialist clinical hand therapy assessment and treatment to a range of clients.
• Design tailored rehabilitation plans aligned with patient goals.
• Working across ACC contracts and injury management pathways.
• Completing clear, comprehensive documentation and reports.
• Work collaboratively with referrers and other health professionals.
• Contribute positively to team culture and uphold high clinical standards.
• Operate confidently within professional competencies and scope.

In this role, you'll work alongside an experienced and supportive MDT of physiotherapists, occupational therapists and psychologists, delivering high-quality hand therapy services to a broad and varied caseload. You'll play a key role in assessing, treating and supporting clients through their recovery journey, while continuing to grow your own clinical expertise in a learning-focused and team-oriented environment
