Job summary

Tradestaff is seeking an experienced Hammerhand for a busy residential project in Queenstown. You will work with qualified carpenters on framing through to finishing, using hand and power tools safely, measuring and installing materials, and keeping the site tidy and safe.

Applicants should have 2–3 years of hammerhand or construction experience, be reliable, a good team player, and comfortable with Site Safe advantage.

• Confident using hand and power tools.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Able to work well in a team.
• Site Safe is an advantage but not essential.

Job description

We've got an immediate opening for an experienced Hammerhand to join a busy residential project in Queenstown.

Working alongside qualified carpenters, you'll be involved in all aspects of the build, from framing through to finishing work. With more residential and commercial projects already in the pipeline, there's the opportunity for ongoing work for the right person.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting carpenters with framing, cladding and general construction
• Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Measuring, cutting and installing building materials
• Helping with formwork and concreting where required
• Keeping the site clean, organised and safe

What we're looking for
