Job summary

Ara Poutama Aotearoa in Hamilton is seeking a trained Programme Facilitator to work in the Tai Aroha residential Special Treatment Unit. The role is permanent, 32 hours per week, based in Hamilton with occasional travel to other locations.

The unit runs a 16-week programme for men at high risk of violent reoffending and aims to support non-violence and wellbeing. You will deliver a range of clinically designed therapeutic programmes, either individually or with a co-facilitator, to help

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in psychology, social work or counselling.
• Experience delivering therapeutic interventions, individually or in groups.
• Ability to listen, reflect and support change in others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinically designed therapeutic programmes to residents.
• Facilitate programmes solo or with a co-facilitator.
• Aim to support safe, crime-free futures and wellbeing.
