Rainforest Retreat on the West Coast of New Zealand seeks a friendly Receptionist to greet guests, check in/out, and ensure a memorable stay. You will be the first and last impression, delivering warm, professional service and helping guests explore local attractions.

Key duties include upselling activities and dining options, handling reservations by phone, email, and online channels, and maintaining a smooth front desk operation with accurate cash handling.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to upsell activities and dining options.
• Professional presentation and reliable punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests at Rainforest Retreat.
• Explain facilities and services, upsell activities and bar/restaurant.
• Enter and accommodate reservations, including group bookings.
• Answer inquiries by phone, fax, email, or written requests promptly.
• Be knowledgeable about current room rates, packages, and promotions.
• Process wholesale FIT and group requests.
• Learn local activities to share with guests and encourage bookings.
• Balance cash after each shift with the reservation system.
• Check out guests with a warm, positive farewell and ensure a great last impression.
• Arrive on time per rostered timings.
