Job summary

Cordis Auckland by Langham Hospitality Group is seeking a Reservations Group Supervisor to lead the Group Reservations function, oversee large and complex bookings, and ensure accurate handover to arrival and departure. Working with Sales, Events, Revenue, Finance and Operations, you will maximise revenue opportunities while maintaining high service standards.

The role is permanent, full-time with 40 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel reservations, groups, events or related hospitality.
• Experience managing large or complex group bookings in a large hotel.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure.
• Collaborative approach across hotel departments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day Group Reservations function and provide guidance to the team.
• Manage large and complex group bookings, room blocks and allocations.
• Ensure group reservations, rooming lists, rates and booking details are accurate.
• Pro actively manage cut-off dates, wash factors, pickup and room allocations.
• Complete group balancing, reconciliation and reporting on time.
• Ensure hotel credit and payment procedures are followed.
• Monitor group activity and identify issues before they affect guests or clients.
• Work with Sales, Events, Revenue, Finance and Operations to deliver group business.
• Assist with training, onboarding and development of team members.
• Maintain strong communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to maximise revenue and cross-sell hotel services.
