Madison Recruitment Limited is seeking a reliable Groundskeeper to join our team at Western Springs, Auckland. This outdoor, physically demanding role keeps the space tidy and visitor-ready for thousands daily.

You’ll do litter picking, mowing, weed control and general maintenance, with lifting up to 20 kg. Start asap with potential extension; hours 7am–3:30pm Tue–Sat; $29.90/hour plus 8% holiday pay. A NZ driver license and drug/alcohol screen are required.

Formación

• Able to pass drug and alcohol screen.

We’re on the lookout for a reliable and hands‑on Groundskeeper to join a dedicated team maintaining one of Auckland’s most loved public spaces.

What you’ll be doing:

This is a true outdoor and physically active role, keeping the grounds safe, tidy and looking their best for the thousands of daily visitors. You’ll be on your feet for much of the day and need to be comfortable with regular physical work.

Tasks include but not limited to:

• Litter picking and general waste management


• Lawn mowing and leaf blowing


• Basic plant care and weed control


• General physical grounds and maintenance work


• Lifting and moving items weighing up to 20kg

Details:

• Start: ASAP – December, with potential to extend


• Location: Western Springs


• Hours: 7am – 3:30pm, Tuesday to Saturday


• Driver licence: A full,New Zealand driver licence is required


• You must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen with a clear result


• $29.90 per hour + 8% holiday pay
