WSP Nelson is seeking a Work Group Manager for Ground Engineering to lead the Ground Engineering team from our Nelson office, delivering high-quality project outcomes, strong commercial performance, and exceptional client service.

You will foster career growth, build client relationships, identify opportunities to diversify offerings, and work with the Business Manager on regional plans and strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification.
• Preferably minimum of 10 years’ professional experience in a related discipline.
• Solid understanding and experience within the ground engineering sector.
• Relevant professional registration or working towards this.
• Demonstrated people leadership experience, strong commercial drive and client centric approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Ground Engineering team to deliver high-quality project outcomes and strong commercial performance.
• Ensure exceptional client service and maintain strong client relationships.
• Identify opportunities to grow and diversify the Ground Engineering service offering.
• Collaborate with the Business Manager to deliver Nelson and regional business plans and strategic objectives.
