Job summary

GHD in New Zealand is seeking a Graduate Planner to join its 2027 Graduate cohort, commencing in February 2027. You will support planning projects across infrastructure, transport, property, water and energy sectors, coordinating planning approvals and environmental consents.

The two-year Graduate Development Program is designed to provide a smooth entry into consulting, with mentoring and collaboration across disciplines within GHD.

Qualifications

• Degree in Planning, Urban and Regional Planning, Environmental Planning or related field.
• Graduating or completed studies by end of 2026.

Responsibilities

• Support planning projects across infrastructure, transport, property, water, energy and community sectors.
• Assist with due diligence assessments and development applications.
• Draft planning assessments, reports and stakeholder correspondence.
• Collaborate with planners, engineers, scientists, designers and clients.
