Job summary

Egis invites new graduates to join our Wellington team as part of the two-year Graduate Program, designed to nurture early consulting careers in civil, electrical, chemical, mechanical or mechatronic engineering.

We offer peer mentorship, hands-on experience, professional development, and continuous learning across diverse sectors, with opportunities to work locally while connecting to global expertise and projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Chemical, Mechanical, Mechatronic or Electrical Engineering.
  • Graduate Attributes: excellent communication skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Working rights to live and work full-time in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project success.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation, reports and drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Analyse data to support engineering decisions and project outcomes.
  • Assist Senior Engineers in planning, designing, and executing projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaboration: work with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Qualifications

Who We're Looking For

  • Commencement: available to start in February 2027
  • Bachelor's Degree: recent tertiary degree in Civil / Structural/ Chemical / Mechanical / Mechatronic / Electrical Engineering
  • Graduate Attributes: excellent communication skills, passionate about solving complex problems
  • Working Rights: relevant work rights to live and work full-time in New Zealand
