Job summary

Reserve Bank of New Zealand | Te Pūtea Matua invites graduates to join its 2027 Graduate Programme in the Data and Information Directorate within the Operations Group. You will work on challenging data work that informs decisions affecting New Zealand’s economy, starting from day one in Wellington.

From day one, your mahi will matter as you contribute to official statistics, support analytical tools, and help deliver data collections that support the Bank’s core mandates.

Qualifications

• Graduated within the past two years with highest qualification by February 2027.
• Achieved a B+ or higher average in the most recent 12 months of study.
• Available to work full-time from early 2027 in Wellington.
• NZ citizen, NZ permanent resident, or valid work visa holder.

Responsibilities

• Deliver official statistics on the economy and financial system.
• Support our systems, methods and analytical tools for internal users.
• Deliver data collections to support the RBNZ's core mandates.

Education

Bachelor's degree in economics, mathematics, statistics, data science or related field
