Job summary

Reserve Bank of New Zealand in Wellington is launching its Graduate Programme 2027 in the Data and Information Directorate, Operations Group. You will join a close-knit team shaping economic data and insights from day one.

Successful candidates are curious, strategic and able to dive into complex information, spot patterns and communicate findings. The programme offers broad exposure across statistics, data science and analytics with a clear career pathway.

Qualifications

• You’ll have your tertiary studies wrapping up and be ready to apply economics, mathematics, statistics, data science, or related study.
• You graduated within the past two years with your highest qualification by February 2027.
• You attained a B+ or higher-grade average from the previous 12 months of study.
• You’ll be available to work full-time from early 2027 in Wellington.
• You’ll be a NZ citizen, NZ permanent resident or holder of a valid work visa.

Responsibilities

• Deliver official statistics on the economy and financial system.
• Support our systems, methods and analytical tools for internal users.
• Deliver data collections to support the RBNZ’s core mandates.
