Job summary

Fulton Hogan Limited is seeking an experienced Grader Operator to join our team for road construction and maintenance projects. This hands-on role requires safe, efficient operation of grading plant and support for the wider site crew to keep the work moving to plan.

You will complete pre-starts, plant checks and basic maintenance, follow the work programme, and report incidents or hazards. We value safety, reliability and teamwork, with opportunities to learn and progress within a supportive,

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Class 4 driver licence.
• W, T, R endorsements essential.
• Minimum Level 1 Traffic Controller certification.
• Proven construction grading experience, ideally building new roads.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and doing the job right first time.
• Reliable, practical, team-focused and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Operate the grader safely and efficiently to support road construction and maintenance works.
• Complete pre-starts, plant checks, and basic maintenance before machinery is operated.
• Follow the work programme and site instructions from your supervisor or foreperson to keep delivery on track.
• Take safety seriously by speaking up, using stay safe questions, and reporting incidents, near misses, and hazards.
• Look for smarter, safer ways of working and contribute to a team culture built on respect, reliability, and good work.
