Fulton Hogan is seeking an experienced Civil Grader Operator to join our Hamilton-based Construction Division. This hands-on role focuses on delivering quality outcomes safely and efficiently across civil and roading projects. You’ll operate with precision, work with the crew, and contribute to high standards on site.

The role requires focus on safety, quality, and reliability, with opportunities for training and career progression within a friendly, hardworking team in New Zealand.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ proven grader operating experience in civil and road construction.
• Full Class 2 licence and WTR endorsements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Proven experience leading crews and communicating with team members and suppliers.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, reliability, respect, and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Operate a grader to shape, level, and maintain roads, shoulders, drainage ditches and finished road surfaces.
• Carry out routine road maintenance, including pothole repairs and erosion control work.
• Complete area-wide pavement treatments, overlays and final trim work to a high standard.
• Support subdivision pavement works and wider civil construction activities.
• Help deliver projects to plan, while maintaining safety, quality and performance standards.

You’ll be trusted to operate with precision, work closely with the wider crew, and help deliver high quality outcomes safely and efficiently.
