Job summary

Tait Communications is seeking a highly organised Project Compliance Co-ordinator in Christchurch to support our compliance laboratory and teams. You will coordinate testing, certification, and documentation for global markets, working with engineers, external labs, and regulators to ensure timely, accurate delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of radio communications technologies and RF concepts.
• Experience in a commercial product development, telecommunications, or project coordination environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency with databases and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate product compliance activities to support certification for global markets.
• Develop and maintain compliance plans for new products and enhancements.
• Liaise between internal stakeholders, external test labs, and regulatory bodies.
• Coordinate testing programmes, obtain quotes, prepare samples, track progress, review docs.
• Prepare and submit regulatory certification applications (FCC, ISED).
• Manage compliance documentation, records, purchasing, and lab administration per quality system.
• Support planning and coordination of laboratory testing schedules and process improvements.
