Job summary

Halter in Auckland is seeking a Head of Creative Design to lead and grow our creative function as we scale globally. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of graphic designers, videographers/editors, and motion graphics artists, raising the bar on our visual identity across content, campaigns, events and sales tools.

You’ll set design standards, coach the team, build templates and AI-enabled tools to empower regional teams, and work closely with Brand and Product Design to keep Halter’s visual

• You have strong design fundamentals and a sharp eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Set the creative standard across Halter and ensure our work is cohesive, considered and distinctive across markets and channels.
• Lead and develop the existing creative team, with the opportunity to grow the function globally as Halter evolves.
• Create templates, guidelines, workflows and AI-enabled tools that allow regional teams to execute smaller jobs themselves, while maintaining the brand and freeing the creative hub to focus on higher-impact work.
• Protect the team's time for work that will have the biggest impact rather than simply responding to whatever gets briefed first.
• Help regional marketing teams and other stakeholders become better creative partners - from writing better briefs to understanding when they can execute themselves and when something needs specialist creative input.
• Partner with the Brand Director, marketing and regional teams to improve the quality and effectiveness of campaigns, content, events, paid creative, presentations, sales tools, merchandise and other brand touchpoints.
