Job summary

The Findlay Group is a long-established multi-site bakery and coatings producer based in Gisborne, NZ. We are seeking an accounts payable professional to manage cross-entity invoicing and payments, ensuring accuracy and timely processing across NZ, Australia and the USA.

You will join a small finance team, reporting to the CFO, and play a key role in month-end processes while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts payable or accounting support, including high-volume invoice processing and supplier reconciliations.
• A high level of accuracy and strong organisational skills.
• Good communication skills and a professional, collaborative approach.
• Sound Excel skills and confidence using financial systems.
• Integrity, discretion and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices for NZ and Australian entities, and support US business as required.
• Run payment runs via batch files and transfers, coordinating timing across the group.
• Reconcile supplier statements and support bank reconciliations where required.
• Process employee expense claims and credit card statements.
• Resolve supplier queries and assist with month-end accruals and journals.
• Ensure compliance with company policy, purchasing procedures and GST, and help improve processes.
