Job summary

Elite Glazing and Glass Auckland – East Tamaki, North Island is seeking a Glazier to join our team. You will complete residential glazing jobs across Auckland, working independently from start to finish and communicating professionally with customers.

Required are practical glazing experience, a NZ driver licence, and the ability to measure, cut, and install glass, including retrofit double glazing and related systems.

• Taking job photos and completing job records
• Communicating directly and professionally with customers
• Keeping job sites clean and tidy
• Working safely and taking responsibility for your own jobs

Elite Glazing & Glass is a growing residential glazing company based in East Tāmaki, servicing homes across Auckland.

We specialise in residential glass repairs and replacements, retrofit double glazing, uPVC and aluminium retrofit systems, along with a wide range of general residential glazing work.

We’re looking for a Glazier to join our team!

The Role

You’ll be completing residential glazing jobs throughout Auckland and will need to be confident working independently and managing jobs from start to finish.

Your work will include:

• Residential glass replacement and reglazing
• Measuring and cutting glass independently
• Cutting glass accurately on site and in the workshop
• Cutting holes in glass for cat and pet doors
• Installing cat and dog doors
• Aluminium window glazing and repairs
• Timber window glazing and reputty work
• Retrofit double glazing
• uPVC and aluminium retrofit installations
• Mirrors, splashbacks and other residential glass installations
• Measuring jobs and recording accurate sizes
• Taking job photos and completing job records
• Communicating directly and professionally with customers
• Keeping job sites clean and tidy
• Working safely and taking responsibility for your own jobs

Experience in retrofit double glazing, uPVC or aluminium retrofit systems is an advantage, but not essential. We are happy to train the right glazier in these areas. If you cannot cut a glass, including a pet door hole - please do not apply.

You don't need to already know every aspect of retrofit double glazing. If you have a solid residential glazing foundation, can work independently and are willing to learn, we can teach you our retrofit systems and processes.
