Job summary

Jora New Zealand is recruiting an Apprentice/Trainee Glazier in Timaru. You don’t need glazing experience to apply; construction or practical trades backgrounds are welcomed.

You’ll learn glazing, help install glass, measure and fit, and work with experienced tradespeople to deliver high-quality service. There is full training and apprenticeship support, with secure, full-time employment and a clear path to build a rewarding long-term career in a specialised trade.

Qualifications

• No glazing experience required; willing to learn a skilled trade.
• Must have the legal right to work in NZ.
• Hold a full driving licence or be working towards one.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Learn all aspects of residential and commercial glazing.
• Install and replace glass products.
• Measure, cut, and fit glass.
• Work with experienced tradespeople.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow safety procedures.

We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established Timaru business looking for an Apprentice or Trainee Glazier to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in quality workmanship, and wants to learn a skilled trade.

You don’t need glazing experience to apply. We’re also keen to hear from people with experience in construction, joinery, aluminium, carpentry, engineering, automotive trades, or other practical, hands‑on industries.

What you’ll be doing:

• Learning all aspects of residential and commercial glazing
