Busy Bees Aotearoa is seeking an experienced Centre Manager in Gisborne, NZ, to lead a high-performing team and ensure excellence in care and education. You will drive occupancy, enrolments, and staff rosters while fostering strong community ties and bicultural practices.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in an ECE setting.
• Ability to coach and mentor staff to achieve high-quality outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of Te Whāriki, MOE Regulations, Licensing Criteria and Teaching Council requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the centre performance and build a high-performing team.
• Deliver quality care and education with a focus on compliance and financial results.
• Mentor kaiako through Professional Growth Cycles and 1:1 development discussions.
• Implement centre-specific strategic plans and robust curriculum evaluations.
• Manage occupancy, enrolments and staff rosters to meet targets.
• Build deep community connections as the visible face of the centre.
