MedRecruit Limited is seeking a Permanent General Surgeon with Upper GI & Colonoscopy capability to join a provincial hospital in a stunning coastal New Zealand city. 0.8FTE (64 hours a fortnight) with opportunities in endoscopy, theatre, and outpatient clinics.

You will be part of a supportive team of 7 SMO surgeons, trainees, and nursing staff, delivering planned and acute surgical care in a secondary care setting.

Qualifikationen

• Be eligible for an Annual Practicing Certificate with vocational scope in General Surgery with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
• Hold Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of General Surgeons (RACS), or equivalent.
• Bring clinical expertise to a smaller provincial hospital and contribute to patient care.

Aufgaben

• Provide general surgery care in a secondary care setting, including planned and acute cases.
• Participate in ASOC week (Acute Surgeon on-Call), outpatient clinics, theatre and endoscopy.
• Contribute to after-hours on-call roster and collaborate with surgical, nursing and administrative teams.
