Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora - Waitemāta is seeking a Medical Imaging Technologist for a parental leave cover in Auckland. The Radiology Team at Waitākere Hospital performs general X-ray, with access to DR rooms, Ultrasound, CT, and a dedicated PACS team.

You will contribute to patient care and varied radiology procedures. The successful candidate will hold a BHSc in Medical Imaging (or equivalent), be registered with the NZ MRT Board with an APC, and demonstrate autonomy and teamwork as

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Health Science in Medical Imaging or equivalent
• Registration with the NZ Medical Radiation Technologists Board and a current APC
• A culturally sensitive approach and a professional attitude
• The ability to work both autonomously and within a team
• Experience in PACS environment would be beneficial

Responsibilities

• Undertake various radiological procedures and look after patients' comfort and welfare
• Work as part of a busy radiology service equipped with DR X-ray rooms, Ultrasound, CT and a PACS team
