Job summary

Waihi Health Centre in Waihi, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand, invites an experienced GP or NP to join a supportive and progressive practice. You will work with a skilled nursing team, an experienced GP Lead, and a dedicated administration team in a collaborative environment.

This permanent role offers a salary package with a $10,000 retention bonus and a flexible schedule, ideally 8 sessions per week, to support work-life balance and community care.

Qualifications

• Hold General Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
• Be legally eligible to work in New Zealand
• Experience in general practice or rural medicine preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to the Waihi community
• Work with a supportive nursing team and admin staff
• Participate in practice enrolment models and patient care processes

We have an opportunity for a dedicated and passionate GP to join our team. As an experienced GP ideally you will be vocationally registered or working toward this. You will be working with a team of skilled nurses and an experienced administration team, supported by a dedicated Practice Manager.

• Sound clinical and service skills enabling you to fully utilize your experience
• Ability to provide healthcare to a full range of people in our community
• Hold a General Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
• Be legally eligible to work in New Zealand

This is a permanentposition with negotiable hours, preferably 8sessionsper week.
