Job summary

Picton Surgery in Howick, Auckland is seeking an experienced GP to join a supportive team providing comprehensive primary care. The role offers collaboration with GPs, nurses and admin staff to serve an established patient population.

Qualifications

  • MCNZ registration is required to practice in New Zealand.
  • Fellowship of the RNZCGP or working towards Fellowship is preferred.
  • Experience in a general practice setting is essential.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are required.
  • Commitment to high-quality patient care and ongoing professional development.
  • Understanding Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles in practice is expected.
  • Ability to use clinical and practice management systems confidently.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic General Practitioner (GP) to join our team. Working alongside a skilled group of GPs, nurses, and administrators, you'll provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to an established and growing patient population.

This is an opportunity to work in a supportive practice where quality care, continuity of service, and positive patient outcomes are at the heart of everything we do.

Our practice is open Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm, with no weekends or public holidays. We welcome applications from GPs interested in either full-time or part-time opportunities and are happy to work with you to find an arrangement that suits your preferences.

  • Understanding of and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles in practice
