Job summary

NZS Group’s Geeves Auckland is seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead a busy scaffold operation with a strong team, delivering safe, on-time results and exceptional customer service. You will lead from the front, stay close to the work, and develop a culture of delivery.

In this key regional role you’ll plan work, allocate resources, drive performance, and grow the branch through repeat business while upholding safety, quality, and operational discipline.

Qualifications

• A steady, confident leader of high-performing teams.
• Experienced in running operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Scaffolding industry experience is preferred.
• Strong planning and resourcing skills with a delivery focus.
• Customer-centric, delivery-driven and commercially aware.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational delivery across crews, jobs, logistics and commitments.
• Coach and develop a high-performing team with accountability.
• Ensure customer excellence with safety and quality at the forefront.

What You’ll Lead

• Operational delivery across crews, jobs, logistics, and customer commitments
• A high‑performing team — coaching, structure, accountability, and a culture of pride in delivery
• Customer excellence, ensuring every job is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard
• Work planning, resource allocation, scheduling, and job performance tracking
• Commercial discipline, supported by the on‑site NZS Group Finance Team for fast insight and decision‑making
• Collaboration with TWC and Formshore to deliver integrated solutions and win bigger work
• Branch growth through reliable delivery, strong customer relationships and repeat business
• Safety and quality leadership, ensuring our people go home safe and our work stands out in the market
