Job summary

Te Toka Tumai Auckland seeks a fully qualified General and Colorectal Surgeon with post-fellowship colorectal training to join its Colorectal Unit. Applicant should be eligible for Veterinary? (corrected) registration and CSSANZ membership, and preferred expertise in laparoscopic/robotic techniques.

Role includes teaching, research, and involvement in the Acute Surgical Unit with after-hours on-call commitments at Auckland City Hospital and Greenlane Centre.

Qualifications

• FRACS level surgical training with post-fellowship colorectal specialization.
• Aust/NZ medical registration eligibility and CSSANZ membership.
• Experience in advanced laparoscopic/robotic colorectal procedures.

Responsibilities

• Take an active role in the Department of Surgery and contribute to colorectal surgery development.
• Engage in teaching, audit, and research activities.
• Involvement with Acute Surgical Unit and on-call commitments.
