Job summary

The Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Te Matau a Māui Hawke's Bay invites applications for a clinical gastroenterologist with a focus on teaching, CME and quality improvement. The role includes participating in endoscopy services, student training and service development at Hawke's Bay.

The successful candidate will work with a small team, manage ERCP/EMR when appropriate, and contribute to culturally safe care under Te Tiriti principles.

Qualifications

• Proven skills and experience in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.

Responsibilities

• Teach, contribute to continuing medical education, and quality improvement.
• Develop services to meet patient needs in Hawke's Bay.
