Job summary

The New Zealand Government is seeking a Gastroenterologist for the Taranaki Base Hospital. This is a fulltime position (1.0 FTE) offered temporarily for 12 months, with the possibility of extension. Immediate start is available.

About the Role

We are seeking a consultant in General Medicine to provide high-quality, patient-centred care in our busy but supportive hospital setting. We are specifically looking for someone with a Gastroenterology focus, or a Gastroenterologist who is open to doing partial General Medicine.

  • Participate in the general medicine on‑call roster.
  • Deliver high‑quality patient‑centred care.
