Job summary

Delta Utility Services in Rangiora is seeking a motivated Gardener to join our Rangiora team. You will perform chemical weed control, gardening and grounds maintenance across commercial contracts, and support the wider team with lawn mowing and other outdoor tasks.

Qualifications

• Current, clean full New Zealand driver licence; quad bike experience would be an advantage.
• Practical gardening, horticulture or grounds maintenance experience; Level 3 or 4 horticulture qualification is desirable.
• Experience using and maintaining outdoor power equipment.
• Experience applying agrichemicals; GROWSAFE certification would be an advantage, training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out chemical weed control, gardening and grounds maintenance across commercial contracts.
• Support wider team with lawn mowing, general labouring and other outdoor maintenance tasks as required.
• Work outdoors in varied conditions and maintain high standards of quality results.

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Gardener to join our Rangiora team. In this varied, hands‑on role, you will carry out chemical weed control, gardening and grounds maintenance across commercial contracts. You will also support the wider team with lawn mowing, general labouring and other outdoor maintenance tasks as required.
