About the Role

As a Gantry Crane Operator, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of heavy materials within a busy industrial environment. You'll work alongside a professional team where safety, precision, and reliability are key.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operating gantry cranes safely and efficiently.
• Lifting and moving heavy loads in accordance with site procedures.
• Conducting pre-start equipment inspections.
• Working closely with ground crews and supervisors.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 12 months' experience operating gantry cranes.
• Current NZQA Unit Standard 4711.
• Current NZQA Unit Standard 3800.
• Proven logbook evidence demonstrating your operating experience (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of safe lifting practices and health & safety procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and a reliable work ethic.

You Must Also Have

• New Zealand Citizen or New Zealand Resident.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• Clean criminal history.
• Reliable transport to and from work.
