Job summary

Acron Plastics Ltd in Wairau Valley, Auckland, is seeking a reliable, physically fit Production & Machine Operator to join the manufacturing team. This hands-on role focuses on vacuum-forming machinery and plastics production, with duties including finishing, loading sheets, setting up tooling, trimming and packing finished products.

Training will be provided; previous vacuum-forming experience is not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with machinery, manufacturing, engineering, fabrication or similar hands-on environment.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
• Learns quickly and follows instructions accurately.
• Reliable, punctual and strong work ethic.
• Willing to assist across a small manufacturing team.

Responsibilities

• Load and handle plastic sheets, tools and finished products.
• Set up tooling and materials for production.
• Trim, drill and finish plastic components.
• Assist with CNC production when required.
• Maintain cleanliness of machinery, tools and production areas.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Pack finished products and support general factory duties.
