Job summary

New World Te Kauwhata is seeking a motivated Grocery Assistant / Online Delivery Driver to deliver orders to customers’ doors with a strong focus on service. The role is full-time and includes one weekend day, involving safe lifting and navigating various properties to ensure timely deliveries.

You will load orders, assist customers, and maintain quality standards in a fast-paced store and delivery environment. Applicants must have a valid Class 1 license and the right to work in New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Ability to navigate local area with good geographical knowledge.
• Capable of working independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Load and transport grocery orders safely.
• Deliver shopping orders to customers within required timeframes.
• Navigate driveways, hills and access areas to deliver orders.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding orders.
• Assist customers with product enquiries and recommendations.
• Lift up to 15kg and perform repetitive movements.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, cleanliness and service.
