Job summary

Only Ur's Limited in Dunedin, Otago, is seeking full-time Beauty Therapists and Nail Technicians to join our busy team. You should be confident working solo to deliver high-standard beauty and nail treatments while contributing as part of a friendly group.

The clinic operates seven days a week, with a roster that includes weekends. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $24.00 to $31.00 depending on experience, and a minimum of 30 guaranteed hours per week up to 40.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience as a Beauty Therapist or Nail Technician.
• Practical skills in beauty and nail treatments.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Availability to work rostered shifts across Monday to Sunday, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Discuss client needs, analysing skin characteristics and advising on suitable skin care, treatments and makeup.
• Applying general cosmetic and corrective makeup.
• Performing manicures and pedicures, including decorative nail art and artificial nails.
• Performing facial and body treatments such as massages.
• Treating unwanted hair through waxing, bleaching, tinting, depilation and electrolysis.
• Evaluating beauty therapy processes and products.
• Receiving bookings and maintaining client records.
• Providing advice on and selling cosmetic and nail care products.
• Maintaining clean, safe and hygienic work stations and equipment.
