Job summary

Foodstuffs North Island's New World Warkworth bakery is seeking an Experienced Baker to join our busy team. You’ll bake a variety of bakery items, measure ingredients, mix, shape, and decorate, while following established recipes to ensure consistent quality.

This full-time role (38 hours per week) requires weekend availability. You’ll maintain a clean, safe workspace, assist with inventory, deliver great customer service, and work well both independently and with others.

Qualifications

• Experience baking in a bakery or similar environment.
• Reliable and honest team player with good communication.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Bake a variety of bakery items, including measuring ingredients, mixing, shaping, and decorating.
• Learn and follow established recipes to ensure consistent quality.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area and equipment.
• Comply with Health and Safety and Food Safety policies.
• Assist with inventory management and communicate ordering needs to management.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle inquiries.
• Able to work independently.
