Job summary

Zohorecruit in South Waikato is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to join a poultry/food production environment in Tokoroa. The role is hands-on, with occasional work in Lichfield, and starts at $30 per hour with room to negotiate based on skills and experience.

You will perform preventative maintenance, repair feed and water systems, conveyors, farm machinery, and packaging equipment, while prioritizing safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical or engineering background.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar maintenance roles (ideally poultry or food production).
• Proactive and hands-on problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Must reside in or relocate to South Waikato.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
