Job summary

Foodstuffs South Island Limited is seeking an all-rounder Front of House professional to join the team at Full Monty’s Bowling in Canterbury. This permanent full-time role offers a minimum of 30 hours per week with competitive rates between NZD 27 and 29 per hour, depending on skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or related qualification in Hospitality, Food and Beverage.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Confident working independently and on the floor or at the bar.

Responsibilities

• Provide full table and bar service, including seating guests and taking orders.
• Lead by example on the floor and behind the bar during shifts.
• Assist with shift coordination, tasks and keeping FOH team focused.
• Train team on service standards, POS use and menu knowledge.
• Prepare beverages and support responsible service of alcohol.
• Maintain clean, stocked service areas and handle cash/cash-out duties.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and escalate when needed.
• Communicate with kitchen, reception and wider venue team.
